There’s a way to do this while having a roof over your head. Think of it as your own portable home but with wood flooring and smaller than a camper.

The cost of living is so high that it’s ridiculous to add onto that with utilities and the price of owning a home. With these tiny homes you will suddenly go from worrying about how you’re supposed to make the house payment this month to having more than enough money to go around. While you may be losing out on a bit of space, all those who are happy with their tumbleweed homes have proven that you don’t need all of those material possessions that you’ve collected over the years. In fact, saying goodbye to some items that you rarely even look at anymore and hello toTumbleweed Tiny Houses as low as $100 a year for your entire utility bill is completely worth it.

It’s amazing when you think that you can build your very own home for as little as $15,000. That’s a huge bargain when compared to most homes on the market today! You can either purchase it prebuilt or you can buy the materials and let the tried and true building plans help you through creating your very own home with your own two hands. With these tiny houses you can not only recreate your home but you can also restart your life and it might be just the answer that you’re looking for. Plus, how else do you plan to take your home with you when you go on vacation? Only with tumbleweed tiny houses can you bring your home along.

I would say you’re about right on with your $15,000 estimate to build one. My buddy just built a tiny home in August and he had about 16K into the whole thing.

We live in TX – I would wonder how this changes from state to state for materials and any labor if needed?

My friend absolutely loves it by the way!

We are seeing some people that are putting a little bit more square foot and upgrades to them here and there. We heard from one person that said they put a little over 40K into his, but I would have called this more than just your typical tiny house. I guess that’s one great thing though, you can do what you want, and if having a little more space is what you want then that’s great! I believe his house was about 350 square foot, and he used pretty high end materials.

Good stuff Todd, thanks for the comment!
